Quartzsite to Tucson

After five great days of Experiencing Quartzsite, Tom and I finally made our way to Tucson, our primary destination for this road trip. We hit the road, for the 250 mile drive, soon after sunrise.

We headed east on Interstate 10, going back the same way we came to Quartzsite. But this time we cut south on Highway 85 then east on Interstate 8 to avoid driving through Phoenix. While Tom drove, Aly entertained me... as usual! We only stopped once, for a short break, before reaching Tucson/Lazy Days KOA, our home for the next month.
