Tom and I drove separately as we left our campsite in Bisbee because its at the top of a steep hill with sharp turns. And, since our Jeep was already disconnected from the camper to fit in the tight RV site, we waited to reconnect until we found a flat pullout several miles out of town. Now we were ready for our 350 mile drive from Bisbee to Quartzsite!
We made our way north, passing back through Tombstone, to connect with Interstate 10 near Benson. Interstate 10 took us west through Tucson where we raced a train towards Phoenix. After skirting around Phoenix, we stopped for a short break, and Taco Bell, at a truck stop in Tonopah. From there it was a short drive to our next destination, Quartzsite, Arizona. Aly enjoyed the views as we approached Quartzsite but she was ready for the long drive to be over!
