Experiencing Sonoita, Arizona

While staying in Sierra Vista, our local friends suggested we check out the Sonoita wine country. So, Tom and I booked a night at Sonoita Vineyards through our Harvest Host membership. Our boondock site was right behind the wine tasting and gift shop building. Well… isn’t that convenient! Tom and I enjoyed meeting other guests while sipping wine on the porch and Aly enjoyed wrestling with the vineyard dog.

After a brief rest in the camper, we headed into the town of Sonoita to visit the highly recommended Stake Out Restaurant and Saloon. There we met two entertaining ladies from Virginia. They're a long-haul trucking team driving between Virginia and California every week. Oh… the stories they could tell… and did!
