Tom and I were down with the flu when we started our 4th week in Tucson. We still had many things we wanted to do before leaving town... too many even if we weren't sick.

We continued taking Aly to the dog park and she continued looking longingly at the gate until at least one of her many friends showed up. Hank, a black Golden Doodle, was her favorite!
When we finally started feeling better, Tom and I set out to Explore Pima Air & Space Museum.
Exploring Pima Air & Space Museum
Pima Air & Space Museum is located just a few miles from the KOA. Tom and I passed it multiple times when we rode along the Tucson Loop bike trail and we were determined to visit it before we left town. We'd been advised by several friends to purchase the 2-day pass because there was way too much to see in one day... they were right!
Tom and I bought the two day pass as well as a guided tram tour. Unfortunately, we were still pretty rundown after having the flu so after 3 hours, we were ready to call it a day. But, the museum was well worth the visit and our 2-day pass never expires. So, as long as we don'y lose our receipt, we can return any day in future weeks, months or even years.
Heading Home Early
After our enjoyable but exhausting half-day at the museum, I realized I was still too rundown from the flu to do much of anything during our final days in Tucson. Tom enjoyed one more bike ride and we shared another afternoon by the pool with friends then packed up to head home a few days early. This won't be our last visit to Tucson. Our time in this area was wonderful and the weather was perfect!
